This 7-day revitalizing retreat will restore your balance, cultivate inner peace, and nourish your body from inside out. Learn to take care of yourself on a deep level, and feel empowered moving forward in your life beyond our week together.
We start each day with an energizing Living Yolates or Dancing Yolates Session with Mikkala, followed by breakfast, and a cooking class or nutrition workshop with Sarah. After lunch there is free time to rest, enjoy the pool, the sauna, the shala, take a walk through the beautiful rice fields, or into Ubud. The afternoon offers a second Yolates class geared towards relaxation, followed by dinner, and an optional evening activity.

This is an all women's retreat and we have limited the number of participants to 16 to make sure that everyone gets the best experience possible.

The Ark is a beautiful oasis surrounded by tropical greenery and traditional Balinese rice fields. It’s situated in Penestanan, which is the quieter part of Ubud but you are still in walking distance to cafes, spas, and boutiques as well as a short ride from Ubud center. The property backs onto an undisturbed valley, fringed by rice fields and lush gardens. You’ll see dragonflies in the day and fireflies in the night, a symphony of crickets and frogs, perfect for those who enjoy being in the healing serenity of nature.
For this retreat we offer beautiful single rooms with ensuite bathroom, double rooms with ensuite bathroom (two separate beds) and a seven person dorm. All the rooms are tastefully designed with a mix of comfort, simplicity and the Balinese touch. New this year is the Villa with dorm-style accommodation: seven separate beds in a second floor open concept space, which gives you the chance to join the retreat at a lower price than double and single rooms. The Villa has a full kitchen, dining area, three restrooms and a balcony with a view of the rice fields. The Villa is located a ten minute walk on a quiet path from The Ark retreat venue itself so this accomodation option is for people who are comfortable with a walk back and forth from The Ark (alternatively, a scooter ride can be arranged)..

The week’s menu will be My New Roots-inspired recipes and and meals and prepared by The Ark’s own vegetarian chef in collaboration with Sarah Britton, using local, whole ingredients.
All meals and drinks are included during your stay and each meal at the retreat is a true celebration! Sarah’s approach to food is creative, fresh and vibrant, and her passion is bringing out the natural flavours in food, while preserving their precious nutrients. The retreat menu will follow her principles, use vegetarian ingredients, with plenty of raw, vegan, and gluten-free options to suit all dietary needs. Local, and organic ingredients will be used whenever possible.
Living Yolates is a holistic form of exercise that combines the best of three worlds: yoga, pilates, and dance. Yoga for inner peace, strength, and balance; pilates to strengthen all core muscles; and dance for pure joy and boosting your energy. So much more than a way to work out, Living Yolates is a mindset and a lifestyle - a constant practice of letting go of negative energy such as anxiety, low self-esteem, tension, and limitations, and instead opens you up to the feeling of trust, accepting who you are, and brings you into the beauty of the present moment. In this way, the body becomes strong and flexible, while you are also working with yourself on a deeper level. Living Yolates leaves you with feeling empowered, free, and full of self-love.

In order to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere this retreat is for women only and each week is limited to 16 participants.
Our retreats respect an honour where you are right now in your health journey. The classes and workshops are for women of any culinary skill level and any physical condition. We welcome everyone with open arms!
Prices are per person. A separate booking must be made for each person in a group, please note in the comment box if you wish to share a room with a friend or relative. If not, you will share it with a friend you haven't met :)
All bookings are final with no refund. In case of illness or force majeure we will do our best to find a solution/have another participant take the space. It is possible to give your space to a friend, just inform us at least 1 week before the retreat takes place via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Flights to Ubud, Bali are not included.
Spa treatments, alcoholic beverages and excusions outside of the venue are not included.
